In previous years the individual grants have ranged between SEK 15,000 and 50,000 for research into issues relating to ways in which architectural quality can be reinforced and developed in property management and property development.

The foundation is affiliated to The Swedish Museum of Architecture and is purpose is defined in the deed of endowment as being “to support construction and real estate research, e.g. by making grants to architects, structural engineers and property managers for studies of structural engineering and property management in Sweden and abroad and also, given the possibility, for scrutiny of the impact of municipal by-laws, national regulations and statutory provisions on construction and management.”

Grants Awarded in Previous Years

2008 Albert Orrling

Architect-student Albert Orrling was awarded for a project aimed at discovering and developing new, innovative, creative and appropriate ways of renovating buildings dating from between 1960 and 1975.

2008 Sergio Montero Bravo, Emma Kruse och Boel Allende

In addition, Sergio Montero Bravo, Emma Kruse and Boel Allende were awarded for a project concerned with taking a closer look at the structure of the insect society.
