Architecture for the Senses

The Museum of Architecture is joining forces with Björn Hellström from Konstfack and consulting engineers Tyréns, and Peter Lundén from the Interactive Institute in two smaller exhibitions looking at acoustics and urban planning.

The first exhibition will present a proposal for a project dealing with Mariatorget – a square in central Stockholm – in which sonic additions and physical refinements have been used to create a more pleasant acoustic. The other exhibition will present simulations of the acoustics at busy traffic junction Slussen as the situation is today, if the currently adopted development proposal is carried out or if one of the other submissions to the competition is realized.

Stimulating listening is guaranteed.
